Just an observation. When I grew up 'Queer' meant someone was perceived as being strange or off beat. People could use the word 'Gay' to mean something like a pleasant day. Now these adjectives have been hijacked by the politically correct Polizia so I figured that the letter 'Q' was code for something else.

Acronyms in our now tech age saves time when relevant to the reader and then there is google to sort it out if you don't understand, my best friend.

My ex wife for 22 years held a middle name of Gay, when she was named 65 years ago her middle name meant happy and not camp or homosexual, words, meanings and all the other crap is simply the changing of the guard.

My conclusion of Acronyms. It takes more time looking up the meaning of an acronym than the time that acronym would save.

If it is ROFL or LOL, but after that its Google for some, but me I just forget about it.

Hear you Bob but welcome to October 2023, July things were different and 5 years ago things were vastly different. For me I don't stop learning and hope I never do. I distinctly remember my Daughter 20 plus years ago telling me that what I said and can't remember what it was, "Dad That's really gay" and our conversation had nothing to do with happiness nor homosexuality but a general conversation, she was 12/13 at the time and for her the meaning of the word was totally different than 50 years ago as well as today.

OMO but acronyms/words save time once you know the meaning, on current times this is how the world is traveling right or wrong.

It's that "+" thing which has me concerned. Just how long can this acronym grow?

Wouldn't your lady-boy fiancé (Link) be able to help you with that part of your question?

LGBTQ community: I dont know of any,

many shemales live open as such

but many Filipinos are much catholic and catholic church still see such as a curable illness as at "stone age" in western countries. This make many are affraid of "get out of closet" or dont even admit for themselves even when being obvious gay if having "gay radar" eye. E g a Filipina I knew told one of her cousins are one as the later.

If you ask around among shemales, I suppouse some know of communities (if there are any).
