Amazon does have a presents in the Philippines But Not Warehouses. Amazon has office & operations including call centers.

In the past Amazon did have free delivery for its members ordering from the Philippines. In the past at checkout they tell you which items would be free.

I would check out Shopee or Lazada for the products you may need, shipping cost are minimal. In general purchasing items in the Philippines have very cheap delivery costs.

If you are talking shipping USA to Philippines you can ship Balikbayon boxes, its been seven years since I did that, the cost ranged between $65/80 depending which company and the time of year.

If you have an Amazon account, set your delivery address to your Philippine address  it will give you ETA and cost

i have received items from Amazon quicker than Lazada 😳

Amazon USA do deliver to the Philippines and the service is very good. One does have to have an Amazon us account as I do as well as my UK account. Quite a few things are free delivery to the Philippines especially if one goes over a certain amount. Definitely worth looking in to as the Amazon USA pricing is considerably cheaper than say lazada for the same things

On my US Amazon account I can choose my Philippine address and after searching a product it will only show the ones that ship to Philippines. As member stated above, many items are shipped free here if you spend the $35 + for free shipping. Other items are not and the cost is considerably higher and in my opinion not worth it.

If item you looking for is not free shipping,

then Lazada/Shopee/Tiktok/Balikbayan is the way to go here…

I bought some electronics from Amazon last year and it was delivered to my door in Cebu City. I could track the shipment on my Amazon account page all up to the delivery date. Not sure where you got the information about the non-delivery unless Amazon indeed discontinued its delivery service to the Philippines, but that seems strange due to the fact that they still have 2 warehouses here as you mention. However, I do recall that it was delivered by a local courier firm.

I have bought a lot of stuff via Amazon (US account).

Import fees will often push the price out of the "good deal" range for me.

And if it only gives an "estimated import fee", I would not risk buying.

That happened to me. I can't recall what item it happened with (some computer item), but it turned a good deal  into a bad deal.  So at this point I won't buy anything with only an estimated import fee again.

I am pretty sure items sold BY Amazon, LLC give true  cost (item + shipping + import fee, if  any).

I believe everything I've ordered from Amazon, LLC has come via NinjaVan (I am in Lucena City, Quezon). 

We've also ordered a LOT of less expensive itms with Lazada and Shoppee, and delivery drivers (usually self-employed) have always been great. We don't tip a big amount, but always do for any delivery driver. These are the people making it work.

I've purchased many items off of Amazon and had them sent to the Philippines, but Amazon finds local delivery services to deliver the parcels, and that's where sometimes that Quality service you're accustomed to gets lost in the shuffle.  Just when purchasing to the Philippines forget about the fast delivery times and you will be ok.

True, and Amazon must deal with those negatives of local shipping although I will say they never lost a delivery, the time frame was reasonable by local standards and Amazon is very likely making future plans to improve shipping. Perhaps more local warehouses?  Shipping costs can be high if you don't makectheir $49 purchade min. I remember a few years ago Amazon had no presence here but now they are successfully making it work. Still, Lazada, who uses the same local shipping, is a worthy competitor and I often end up choosing them instead. Most of their products are Chinese but the same could be said of Amazon. Amazon Chinese is generally US quality whereas Lazada Chinese is often a lower Asian Chinese quality but, if you shop carefully, lazada might be lower cost but same quality as Amazon and often faster shipping from  Manila.
