Dear all,
I'm from Singapore and i does have a girlfriend in bangkok and currently she is pregnant and she will be giving birth in December. We are not married. I would like to ask you could i use the child birth cert to get 3-6 months visa as my name will be stated on the birth cert. Thanks

As far as I've ever heard there is no visa related to being the parent of a Thai child.聽 People stay in Thailand as tourists for that long, based on leaving and returning once their 30 or 60 day visa has expired, doing "visa runs."聽 Thailand has cracked down on people using that to stay in the country indefinitely but I'm guessing that it can work for up to 6 months.聽 Browsing related threads in the Thai Visa forum would answer some basic questions.聽 There is a visa related to being married to a Thai, if you end up going that route.
