JETSTAR AIRLINE

Has anybody tried to take a simple flight from HCM to Da Nang...
We booked ahead for the 9.20 morning flight, in the taxi on the way to the airport, we received an email saying that due to 'technical difficulties', that flight has been cancelled, so we wasted time at a market, dragging our luggage around. So we duly arrive and are seated on the 2.20 flight and we are seated at 3.20 and we are seated at 4.20. 15 mins later, due to 'technical difficulties' we would have to change planes. So we stand on the bus for 20 mins or so, in the heat... eventually we are herded onto another plane which starts moving the moment the doors are closed, no safety instructions. The flight attendants are still trying to get people seated as the plane is taking off...
Does Jetstar have a curfew at HCM airport or had to land in Da Nang before 6pm?
So, for a 60/70 minute flight, we wasted an entire day...
Guess which airline we won't be traveling with again...

My parents-in-law just had the same problem with JETSTAR. They flew back to Saigon from Nha Trang and it had been delayed 3 hours before they could head back. They were angry and I would never book JETSTAR for them again.

thanks for the rant.

Surveys have found JetStar and Vietjet Air are late 47% of the time.  Yeah, the fares can be cheap.  Expect some delay and build it into your holiday!

Which is why local businessmen use Vietnam Airlines - the extra premium is for the flight being on time and hassle-free.
