Hi all,

We invite all the ones who got married in the Cayman Islands or who are about to get married in the Cayman Islands to participate in this thread

What are the formalities to get married in the Cayman Islands? Is it the same for a couple of foreigners of for a mixed couple (between a foreigner and a native of the Cayman Islands)?

Are the procedures complicated?

How long does it take to carry out all the formalities?

Marring a local Cayman Islander is the only way to naturalize. Unless you are born there! This was true 13 years ago and likely still is. I know of many Canadians who happily reside there permanently. The divers and artists most comfortable as it is such a beautiful environment.
