Join EEA or EFTA zones ?

Hi, any plan for Andorra to join the EEA or EFTA zones in the future ? Online, I can only see mentions of 鈥渁ssociation agreements鈥� negotiations happening with the EU at the moment, that are tentatively said to end around 2020.

No,聽 Andorra has no plan to join the EU, EFTA or the EEA.聽 There is a trade agreement in place with the EU, but only for manufactured goods.聽聽Andorra has kind of adopted Schengen, but only for citizens who have the right of entry into Spain or France.

That鈥檚 what I thought. Being part of the EEA would have opened up to some banking opportunities. After having researched offshore options, Andorra gets often rejected.

Guess you can鈥檛 win on all fields !
