Hi : Can anyone tell me, when we can request to municipal/ city hall for this letter聽 "Proof of free movement within EU: Belgian residence permit for EU citizen, attestation issued by the municipality" ? ,

Is it after the police check to the resident or after getting the resident card?. My husband had submit his documents to Municipal, and had receive pending registration number, he is waiting for the police to come, he was given 3 months to submit pending documents , such Birth certificate and 3 months pay slips ( his job agency wont issue interim contract, so only getting weekly contract).

I want to join him in Belgium, I need this "Proof of free movement within EU: Belgian residence permit for EU citizen, attestation issued by the municipality" to apply for my Visa .

Please kindly help advice.

As i said on your previous post聽 either after he get his annex19 or after his Belgian identity card issued.One of this two document will be enough.

If i were you , i would go and ask visa from NL instead of document waiting.

@maharaji1984 hi, my husband has not lived in NL anymore, if i have to apply the NL visit Visa., he cannot send me the invitation letter from NL Municipal like he did before or he still can? He did not have an address in NL, although he still keeps NL ID Kaart.

annexe 19ter & else do not allow your to have use the right of freedom of movement within the EU!!!!!!!!

You automatically got that right, only when you get a non-temporary resident permit!!! (A, B, C, D, E, E+, F, F+, K, L, M, ...)

The annexe 19ter / orange card聽 DOES NOT GRANT YOU ACCESS TO COME BACK IN BELGIUM IF YOU CROSS THE BORDER

@AlexFromBelgium hello, understand, i have checked with Belgian Embassy. I need the attestation letter from Municipal. and my husband had called them about this, since the police had came to check last week, and Municipal said, they are waiting email from the police, and this Tuesday they have the meeting. so this Wednessday, My husband will have the temp ID number that he can register for hoouse fire insurance, hopefull can apply for attestation letter for my visa as well.
