Just letting you know what you’re really doing is choosing to humiliate yourself by obediently waiting, instead of simply booking an appointment to apply/collect your ID card, bringing a printed copy of your citizenship certificate from Irisbox/Burgerprofiel, and showing up on time.

No authority can legally deny a Belgian citizen the right to obtain their ID and passport. But sure it’s much easier to grovel, complain on forum, and blindly repeat the homemade fairy tales your commune feeds you.

They did not upload the certificate yet cause they have to do it yet that’s why

If certificate is not on the system how OP should claim his ID?

As long as Belgium is  a democracy country, that much byroucracy as well.

Most of the times things are not working as smooth as described in the papers unfortunately.

Btw, it's not a commune who does that, but the Parket. As soon as they are ready with the decision, Nationality certificate immediately appears in Iris Box/Mon dossier/Mijn Burgerprofile.

If you don't have it yet, that means you're not Belgian (yet). Decision is yet to be taken

No I received positive decision from Parket and commune told that they are to put in the system … at least what they replied by email …

Did you recieve a receipt from commune when your application is complete?

If so which date is writen on it ?

If not did you recieve a correction notice?

Normally when parquet d'accord with dossier that means you no more need anyting else.

In your comments you are saying parket is agree but you need to wait two more months to municipality install your documents to system .

Then check it now. If the nationality certificate is available, download it.

With this document, you can go to the commune and request an ID card. There is no need to wait two months.

Of course, you should make an appointment, just like any other Belgian citizen.

Exactly! I agree with you. But this person simply enjoys waiting, enjoys pleasing the officials, so let’s just not interfere… After all, they never asked for our unsolicited advice...

People are just listening which tale has been told them and following the herd.

No one knows how many times i was rejected from municipality in my newbie period to get just a simple paper.

Since then my eyes opened
