Green Light from Brussels: Bulgaria Cleared to Adopt the Euro

The European Commission officially announced on Wednesday that Bulgaria has met all the necessary criteria to join the eurozone. With this green light, the country is set to adopt the euro as its official currency on January 1, 2026. The European Central Bank (ECB) also confirmed that Bulgaria’s economy is sufficiently prepared for the transition.

Fat chance. The Euro is Micky Mouse money at best, and every country that joins is a new nail in the EU's coffin.
