Static caravan

Pedro_Santos
Does anybody know if it’s possible to live permanently in a static caravan in bulgaria.

I know house prices are cheap as chips in Bulgaria but I just want something that’s already done, I don’t need a whole house to myself being a single person and not getting into a relationship any time soon!

Just thought it would also be easier because then I can have a brick outbuilding for storage and such for the veggies and butchered animals for winter time with obviously utilities being connected to the van itself.

My guess is that if you bought a cheap Bulgarian village house with a large garden, and then installed a cabin/caravan in your garden, nobody would pay any attention to whether you lived in the caravan or the house.

I think what Gwyn said is the best answer. There are loads of old village houses available at little more than the land cost. Look for one on the outskirts of a village but within the village boundaries - it will have more land, utilities already on the site, and fewer neighbours. It also gives you a legal address.
I may end up doing something similar - just using the old house for storage - depending on what condition the house is in when I get over to see it.
