Hello yall,
I will be soon moving to Toulouse to further my studies with my two other friends, and we've been looking for a flat to share or 3 studios in a student residence. The searching process was easy and we found a bunch of offers but when we decided to contact the agencies that's when things got harder. Indeed, idk but i think it's kinda rude when ppl leave you with no answer, i do understand if they dont trust us or think we'll just not engage bc we're still not in the city or smth but excuse me they should at least give us a straight answer for us to move to smth else. Didnt lose hope yet but seems like we wont be able to find a place until we re in Toulouse and speak to them irl (bc some dont even answer emails).
And some conditions of "caution" and "garant" matters are just complex tbh..

Hi,
We went through something similar. Online searches showed a lot of apartments available, but later we found out that they really weren't - they kept the ads up because they were for short term stays. Very frustrating.
A caution is a deposit in a special account that is only released after you leave the apartment with no outstanding debt. You would need a French bank account to get one.
A garant is a security deposit.
