Hello,
I am an Albanian student that just started the first semester of master degree in Bamberg.
I am also pregnant and I'm living here alone since my husband still does not have a visa.
So I wanted to ask if is possible to get an appointment at the German Embassy in Albania if we show them the document from Frauenartz that the due date for the baby birth is in January.
He made the application for the work visa appointmentn since January 2019, but still hasn't got any response from the Embassy, since in Albania people should wait for more than a year to get an appoitment.
Also, he has a job contract here in Germany that starts in January 2020, can this somehow help?
And I've been told that if his employee sends a request at the German Embassy in Albania or he goes to the Joboffice (Arbeitsagentur) in Bamberg and says them that he want the person to work in his company is possible to get the visa appointment at the embassy.
Can someone tell if any of this is true?
Thank you so much in advance!

Yes, to get a work visa one has to first line up an  job and then get the visa apporved. Sounds like you have it figured out.

Thank you Tom!
But is possible to make a request at the embassy to have the appointment as soon as possible if you already have the job contract, or the employee makes a request or even in the case that I am pregnant and to come here to help me with the baby?

Becauase in the German Embassy in Albania someone must wait for a minimum for a year to get the appointment for job visa, so any possible way to have the appointment a little bit closer.
I would really appreciate your answer, since I am in a very bad situation, because as a student none is renting me a place, where I can stay with the baby after 2 months

How should we, the readers and volunteers of this site, know the answer to this?!?
I think you better ask the German embassy in your country!

And maybe you could have also thought that if I had an answer from the embassy I wouldn't ask here.

But, nobody other than the embassy - or maybe somebody who knows the embassy well - can help you. Perhaps it is better to ask this on the forum for your country, not the Germany forum?
