We are in the initial researching stage and looking at options for a holiday home but with the intention of retiring. Has anyone come across this company  they are advertising flat/apartments on rightmove at the moment.

Also how does the cost of living compare to UK now?

Not heard of them, however if you are searching in the Amantea area (CS) be aware of the Brit who advertises/plies her trade as a real estate agent, she is not registered as such and operating illegally.

Looking at their website, I wouldn't do any dealings them. It's very amateurish made, using a free website builder. With no properties listed. The email address is using a Yahoo domain. According to Google maps their office is a nail studio.

If you want to buy a property, I would deal with an agency that is actually in the country that you are interested in buying in.

Hi there,

First off, Worldwide Property Holdings does sound a bit questionable—especially if their website doesn’t have actual worldwide property listings. Definitely worth doing thorough research before engaging with them.

Secondly, I’d personally ditch Rightmove for overseas purchases, as it’s mainly focused on the UK market. Instead, I’d recommend using Idealista.it—it’s one of the best property search platforms for Italy, similar to Rightmove but focused on the local market with a much wider selection.

As for cost of living, I’d say it’s roughly 25-50% cheaper than the UK, depending on the region and lifestyle. Daily essentials, fresh produce, and eating out are noticeably more affordable, though things like electronics and some imported goods can be pricier.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Best,

Jonathan

Comments rectracted information received that they are registered with the chamber of commerce

They are registered at Companies House in the UK, but not in Italy.  Therefore they do not have the licence to buy and sell property in Italy.
