Do you speak Lithuanian?

Priscilla

Hi everyone,

It is widely agreed that speaking Lithuanian is essential for a successful integration in Lithuania. Do you agree? Share your experience!

Do you speak Lithuanian? If so, where did you learn this language? Where can one attend a language course in Lithuania?

If not, how do you cope with daily activities? Is it easy to communicate in a different language with Lithuanians?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Hello, I am from México, I have a lithuanian friend, and he told me that he speak lithuanian with his family, but all his Facebook posts are in russian, and even his friends´comments are in russian.

I´m triying to learn lithuanian languaje but I find that there's no schools that teaches lithuanian in my country. I'm learning online.

He tell me that I need to go to Lithuania to speak lithuanian correctly, maybe I do.

Hi, I speak Lithuanian, or better to say, I try to do it. From my experience I think there is no way to learn Lithuanian if you don't live in Lithuania. I attended courses for A2 level at Klaipeda University. They have special intensive courses in winter and summer. It is difficult but really interesting language.
