Port of entry

neversaynever

Hi everyone.  Just a question!!!!  I am travelling to Malta and along with me is a non-EU maid/nanny.  Her passport is stamped with tourist visa from Belgian Embassy. Will it be a hassle and explaining at the Malta airport since I read somewhere that port of entry has to be the country issuing the visa first and than from that on a person can enter other country.
Slightly confusing. Did anyone face anything like this before???
Any info please.

Its absolutely normal to enter Malta with any Schengen visa stamp from any of the Schengen treaty country. Belgium is in the list and there will be no hassle at the Airport.
The hurdle of 'Port of Entry' was resolved in 2008.

Hope it will clear your confusion.  :):):)
