Non-Recognised Sponsor

mertakman

Hello friends,
I'm considering to apply master programme in Rotherdam.
I was looking for post-study chances. And I found if you complated master degree in netherland you may extent one year your residence permit and search for ajob, but normally you have to find a recognised sponsor to hire you except you are Turkish.
So as a turkish I dont have to find a recognised employer, but is anyone could be a non recognised sponsor. this article confused me.

There are two types of sponsors:

Non-recognised sponsors. A non-recognised sponsor can be a:

Private sponsor (individual person): a sponsor of a family member. It is not possible for a private sponsor to also be a recognised sponsor.
Business sponsor: employers who have foreign employees in paid employment, for seasonal labour, traineeship or holders of a European blue card.

MY QUESTION IS; a private sponsor should be a family member or anyone who likes to hire me is ok?

AND Business sponsor can hire me for any job?

Thank you in advance

Hi Mertakman,

Welcome on board on this site and welcome in the Netherlands once you arrive here.

I advise you to contact the institution or university where you want to do your master.
Maybe they can help you or read the sticky topic "New to Holland".

Good luck!
