I'm currently in Norway and awaiting the processing of my family immigration visa. My current health insurance runs out soon and I would like to know if it is possible to get free health insurance through my husband who is Norwegian.

Thanks for your reply but I'm not asking how to get assigned a doctor. I'm asking if it's possible to receive health insurance through my husband without having to get my own insurance. Eg, is it possible to get a family plan?

Do you mean your husband's health insurance?聽 If it is private, you should ask the insurance company.

if you meant national health insurance, I am not exactly sure what you are asking.聽 Do you mean FREE healthcare from Norwegian welfare system?

If yes, you can ask HELFO.聽
