If you are from the UK as your profile says, things might not be so easy for you post Brexit. I would contact the Embassy for the current rules on buying etc...

I'm a British citizen and I bought a property, in Slovenia, post Brexit. I found a house I wanted to buy, made an exceptable offer and then used a Notary Public to deal with all the formalities. House bought, no problems.
