I need some information now..
I need a few blood test and wondering whether they can be taken here (thyroid testing) but I don't trust this place tests.. Are they capable of such tests or do I have to go to Muscat??

To be honest, you'll be no better off here in Muscat than you would be in Sohar.

Well, if at all, Muscat would just be marginally better than Sohar.

Medical services across the Sultanate is wanting, and in a big way. Mainly because this is considered as a pure business opportunity - and not as service - as the case should be.

Perhaps it is not so for the locals, as the Government Hospitals are not profit driven, unlike all the private ones.

Come for a blood test and rest assured that you will be asked to do a dozen other unrelated tests along with it !
