2500USD a good salary excluding accommodation and transportation ?

Hi
I am from India and i have an job offer in Middle east by an American company, they are offer 2500USD as my salary/month and they will provide accommodation and transportation.
They have still not given me the聽 base location as in from where i will be operating.
Is this a good salary to move to middle east with my wife (no kids) ?
And is it acceptable for the company to keep my passport? Should i agree on it or not?

Hi Hope ur doing good. with accommodation and transportation the salary is ok i not say its handsome coz Dubai gat expansive education and other expance $ 2500 x3.67=9175 AED i don't know much it is in indian Rs,

Reha is true..! 2500 US is OK salary if your company is providing you both accommodation and transport..! In indian amount it is close to 150000. Dubai is a city where you cannot stop yourself from roaming outside :-P .. Here major expenses are Accommodation and Transport only. Others depend on your lifestyle :-) .
