Regarding spouse visa

Hello,

One of my cousin is hoping to get a job in Dubai. I have a few queries regarding this:

- Does the company normally arrange for the spouse visa along with her visa
- What visa can the spouse come to Dubai and what is the cost/ visa validity
- If the spouse is employed with another Indian company can he come to Dubai and work assuming his company allows him to work from a remote location

Not many companies provide Spouse or family visa, although they provide needed assistance to apply.聽 In any case the sponsor would be the main person who is on employment visa.聽 Guess your cousin is a female, who may need to sponsor her husband?聽 Certain visa categories of women employees may be permitted to sponsor the husband, subject to salary level.聽 Unless issued by a Free Zone, Dubai residence visa is normally valid for 2 years.聽 If the husband will be working for an Indian company from remote (from Dubai) that is something ne needs to work out with his employers, nothing to do with Dubai regulations.聽 However if the Indian company gets work related to UAE (or reexport kind of work from UAE) it is a different story.
