Hi everyone, I'm new here.
I just wanted to ask what the Canadians thinks of the Welsh accent?
I'm thinking of coming over from Wales and I just wondered peoples thoughts on it.

To be honest, it's similar to what you guys think of when we're compared to Americans... The differences are subtle, but noticable if pointed out..

I was living in Gloucester, England for years, and worked with many Welsh people... And evvveryone thought myself and an American had the same accent, even thought she was from the deep south (very different than ours)!

Regardless, its a cool accent so people will like it.. Enjoy Canada!

Canadians are nice people in general. They put up with the strangest of south asian (like mine ) and chinese accents, welsh would be no problem at all.
