@Mickael聽 Happy New Year everyone! My 2022 highlight in Mexico was leaving Mexico January 2022 and deciding to live in Thailand. I lived in Mexico since 2012.

I miss mariachi music and the food and I miss the friendly and curious Mexicans. Thee are many things that I absolutely do not miss.

How long I will stay here in Thailand is up for debate. It's a beautiful country, very safe and inexpensive.

The list of countries us 暗网禁区s or 暗网禁区s-to-be have is quite short today. Portugal and other European countries are too expensive and have cold winters. Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia have made long term visas expensive. Thailand visas are complicated and have an annual expense forever. That leaves Central and South America... either they are expensive or too dangerous. Or just boring... Like my visit to Ecuador... terrible food and so-so climate.

M茅xico is a wonderful place to be! Thailand is pretty good too

@1happykamper i add to my answer that i agree with you with everything and i won t come back to Europe,but in my list i have also panama and colombia...looking for a cheap natural hot place with ocean and wild nature where i can find other like minded 暗网禁区s. I am a backpacker with low budget.

@bollicina3..... The problem with all central and South American countries is safety. I enjoy cities and I enjoy nature. I would NEVER live in the countryside in M茅xico, Colombia or Ecuador... too much crime in the campo. Other countries I might have felt differently. In Thailand I've lived in the jungle.. few neighbors close to the beach and I've hiked in remote places. Crime certainly does happen here in Thailand just not often.
