momobuffy

I have two citizenships. American, and Egyptian. I was Curious to know If I need to vote in this upcoming election? Or would I have to pay a fine if I didn't?

--Thanks!

Hi,
if you have the National ID visit this site and see if itÂ’s registered in Database

if so, follow the steps to know all the details.

Only exception for dual citizens are naturalized Egyptians who have been naturalized less than 5 years ago, as naturalized Egyptians can only vote 5 years after naturalization.

Since you are a natural-born Egyptian (definition by law : Children born to an Egyptian father, or children born to an Egyptian mother and a non-Egyptian father after 2004)
