November in Belize

hrlee7804

I just made airline reservations for Nov. 15-27 to be in Belize. My normal mode of operation is 'wing it.' I am mid 50's male and traveling alone. I will spend some time at the Caye and mainland. I have not made any reservations for lodging. I have a vehicle rented. I was searching around and it looks to me like hotels are kind of booked up????? I know this is not the busiest time of the year to travel there but getting scared about finding lodging. Question: Will I have trouble traveling around and expecting to find a place to stay each night? I have done that in Belize in past years with no problems. With this economy can hotels be booked two weeks out. When hotels say they only have one or two rooms left does that really mean I may be sleeping in my rental car? I have always gotten good information here on this forum and I appreciate it. Ron Capper
