Hello Members,

I have a question!

Me and my wife both have independent work permits. Now , I want to change my status to dependent on my wife.

Checked with local commune and they said yes it is possible and I will get an Orange card connected with my wife's work permit and I am allowed to work legally in Belgium.

My question is , on official immigration website I read that I am only allowed to work if the spouse is Belgian or EU national. But she is not.

Whom should I believe now , I already have another offer but my future employer is not sponsoring me work permit.
