The offical duration is 6-9 months if I am not mistaken. As far as I know your case should not be a problem as they are also the ones who process the residence permits. But you can ask. You can always contact them using mail infodesk@ibz.fgov.be

I would not suggest you to contact using phone, they usually get a bit angry or don't give a clear answer.

When I send an email to get information, they only reply with a standard response saying that the application is still being processed. The official duration is 6 to 9 months, but based on the experiences shared on the forum, I鈥檝e seen that the process is usually completed in about 4 to 5 months on average. They are currently processing applications that are made around 10th of February. You can expect an answer on this week or next week. I am not sure if it changes based on the country that you applied though.

There are some facebook/whatsapp groups that people share their status. That's how I track. They are mostly citizens. For non citizens, these might change or can be the same based on the what I have seen.
